David Mathew Prior, MCC
David Matthew Prior brings 15 years of organizational coaching experience as a Master Certified Coach (MCC) based in the New York City Metropolitan area. His work is anchored in three domains: executive coaching, leadership development (leaders and managers) and corporate training that focuses on coaching skills development and applications for the workplace. David has an MBA from Thunderbird in international management and coaches fluently in English, Spanish and French. His coaching approach is informed and influenced by the organizational theories, models and practices that he teaches as a member of Columbia University’s core coaching faculty in the Columbia Coaching Certification Program for internal and external coaches.
David’s depth as an organizational coach has evolved from a diversity of professional experiences, including previous careers from having been a Trust and Financial Planning Officer with Chase Bank to professional acting teacher at the Michael Howard Studios in New York. David was one of the early pioneers and leaders of the coaching profession in the United States, which led to his role as a Vice President and Executive Committee Member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) serving on the Global Board of Directors from 2005-2007.
His corporate work has included assignments with an industry range of clientsincludingL’Oreal, Maersk, BNP Paribas, Nokia, Nokia Siemens Network, Hewlett Packard,Microsoft, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Newmont Mining, Johnson & Johnson, LifeCell, Omgeo, Federal Home Loan Bank of New York and the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP). David’s recent international corporate training assignments have extended to Odessa, Tokyo, Copenhagen, Panama City, Bogota, Lima, Sao Paulo, Rio, Mexico City, Genoa, and Madrid.
