Compassionate Leadership

 LBC is sponsoring a "Compassionate Leadership" webinar on May 26 12-1pm ET.

During this time of uncertainty, leadership is needed more than ever. Although we may be physically distant, Leadership Baltimore County is here to help our alumni, current class and local businesses and organizations stay connected and access resources. Next week's Leadership Lunch & Learn will focus on compassionate leadership, which encompasses values, principles and characteristics that, if not already part of a person's profile, can be learned. Our presenter is Susan Hahn, LBC '94 founder and president of Swan Consulting Group. She has written about three of the critical elements of compassionate leadership - Trust, Empathy and Authenticity - and how they are demonstrated virtually and what impact they have on productivity and profitability. These "soft skills" are critical skills during this global pandemic. Without these skills, managing people and processes remotely will generate a path of one steep mountain after another.
