Joy W. Goldman RN, MS, PCC

Joy is a certified coach with the International Coach Federation and a certified physician development coach. Her over 30 years’ healthcare experience in both community-based and academic medical centers provides real world knowledge of the challenges facing physicians and health care leaders today.

Joy supports authentic and values-driven leaders to achieve results. She challenges leaders to find their purpose, passion and power in support of improving healthcare quality and service.

Background and Experience:

Joy is an Executive/ Leadership Coach at an acute-care, community-based hospital. Joy’s work has included executive, leadership and physician coaching to support culture change, and improve team effectiveness. She has created and implemented executive onboarding systems to ensure successful assimilation to new roles and organizations. She has facilitated process improvement and rapid cycle change teams.

In prior roles, Joy was Director of Learning and Organizational Effectiveness, where she implemented an organization-wide learning management system, facilitated patient satisfaction improvement teams, coordinated talent management systems and revised performance management systems. Joy’s background in nursing (former Director of Nursing) and 30+ years in healthcare makes her an expert in dynamics impacting healthcare.

Joy’s talent blends a superb ability to communicate and relate to all levels of employees with a keen business acumen to align learning and development efforts with strategic results.
